San pantrico day
In Albunol on the 17th of March the whole town celebrates St Patrick's day, the school is closed shop aren't open and the whole village gathers for the fiestas.
One of the two church's is named after the the saint i happened to be there this year (09)
During the day people gathered in the local sport centre for free fresh broad beans,
red or white wine and entertainment put on by local children and dance groups
There is then a parade from the Parroquia De San Patricio
Six men carry two huge statues of saints around the village on there shoulders
The first saint out the door is saint Mark the second saint Patrick
The saints are escorted around the village by the village town band, the statues are solid wood and clearly very heavy,
when ever the statues where place on the ground a set of fire works where released
They shot straight up in the air with a very loud whoosh and a bang that echoed through the valley leaving clouds of smoke behind

Skinnyman came to Norwich and i was asked to take some photos it was my first time taking photos in a night club these are the few that came out well...
Skinnyman (born Alex Holland, 1974, Leeds, Yorkshire) is a rapper who moved to Finsbury Park, London at a young age. He formed the Mud Family with Mongo and Chester P (now of Task Force) with whom he released a number of EPs. These included such records as "Itchy Town" and "Lash Suttin", a reworking of Redman's "Smash Something". Skinnyman released a solo album, Council Estate of Mind in 2004.Heavily autobiographical and socially analytical,the album makes much use of samples from Made in Britain, a British film from the early 1980s.
He appeared in the first episode of Tower Block Dreams, a 2004 documentary series on BBC Three which looked into the underground music scene in council estates. He also played a small part in the 2005 interactive TV series Dubplate Drama.Another single, "Change Your Heart" featuring Nemesis & Arrogance, was released by Real Records in August 2006.Skinnyman has also supported Immortal Technique when he performed live in South London in the Coronet Theatre in Elephant and Castle on 4 June 2008
