I have been lucky enough to spend some time in south Spain in the Andalusia region. Most of my time has been spent at the near the Sierra Nevada in Albunol
Surrounded on both side by hills its lies in a valley
White wash house's crammed on every side of the upper valley with a population of around 6000.
Lower down the hills are family town house's and a busy vibrant village.
In the main part of the village lies the school, many bars ,shops and the local market.
Most of the land around Albunol is now used for growing vegetables to supply Tesco's and any flat land is covered by giant green houses.
